Walking into your favorite room should feel like just getting home, peace flooding in from every carpeted corner or shiny wooden floor. For a dancer like Tara Miller, her sanctuary is in the dance studio. Tara finds comfort in knowing that she can step into this room and leave every bit of stress at the door. Her favorite room is her own personal stage, and she owns it.
Light
During this shoot I chose to draw on the light shining in from the windows and bouncing off the mirrors. I chose to shoot around evening time so this inspired a warm toned look. I also used the light reflecting off the hard wood floors as a way to back-light my model in the final photo.
